Our test model was a subtle pastel blue however, you can choose from cream, grey, green, and red.

The door has two narrow racks that are ideal for juice and butter containers. The refrigerator uses thermoelectric exchange technology instead of compressor cooling. It is quieter than normal refrigerators, and has only a the slightest hum when it is it is in operation.
The total capacity of the refrigerator is 295 litres. The fridge compartment holds 209 litres while the storage freezer that is mounted on the bottom holds 89 litres. It is not frost-free, and requires periodic manual defrosting to ensure optimal performance. The drawer for chilled drinks is a nice addition, and there's plenty of room in the drawer for fresh vegetables and fruits.
We tested the fridge for energy efficiency, and it delivered an A+ rating. This is the lowest energy efficiency level we've ever measured, and it is a great result for an appliance at this cost. Despite being a traditional compressor model the Swan is surprisingly quiet for its size. It measured at 42dB when it was running. This is significantly quieter than models from the past decade and quieter than the majority of fridge freezers we have on our Best Buy chart.
This type of fridge also had a good temperature stability. The top shelves, middle and bottom all had an average temperature that was within two degrees either way of the maximum temperature. The temperature of the salad drawer fluctuated between 5oC to just under freezing.
As with the SR11010, the fridge requires a few times of manual defrost, but is classified as A+ for energy efficiency. This makes it one of the most efficient fridge freezers in our Best Buy chart, keeping your electric bills to a minimum.
This is a great example of how Swan can provide stylish retro designs at a very affordable cost. The SR11010 is an excellent product with a great design and comes in a variety of colors. From the delicate pastel blue we tested to more dramatic orange, red and pink. It has the added bonus of not having frost and being quiet as well. It's a solid all-rounder but you need to look at other fridge freezers on our Best Buy table to make sure you get the right appliance for your home.
